Community Care

Healthe Care's Community Care group provides a comprehensive range of general and specialist care and support services to clients and their families and carers in the comfort and safety of their own homes.

Our programs, staff and clients are supported by Healthe Care’s extensive network of private hospitals around the country. With over 5,000 highly skilled medical, clinical and allied health professionals across the group, we have access to state of the art equipment and resources such as fully equipped gyms and hydrotherapy pools. As a result, we are provider of choice for many home-based clients who aspire to achieve their best possible health and wellness.

We understand the value placed on independence, choice and freedom, and we are passionate about offering personalised services that reflect individual needs, interests and aspirations.

We have extensive experience in offering support services and innovative programs to people of all ages with a focus on meeting goals and preferences. Our dedicated professional nursing and care staff will provide the care and support needed, when it is needed, at any time of the day or night, and any day of the year. Services can be scheduled for as little as 30 minutes or up to 24 hours or more – the choice is yours.

Our Community Care group is made up of three organisations – Hunter Nursing, Mayo Home Nursing Service and Rehab 2 Home.

Together they provide over 18,000 home visits per month to clients living in Sydney, the Central Coast, the Hunter region and the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Hunter Nursing and Mayo Home Nursing have a long and successful history of providing community nursing, allied health and support services to aged care clients, clients with disabilities, veterans, and other members of the community.

Rehab 2 Home is a multidisciplinary team of allied health professionals including physiotherapists, exercise physiologists, occupational therapists, dieticians and speech pathologists who provide preventative and restorative programs to clients in their homes as well as community based settings as appropriate.
